At this point a year ago I was done with my LiveJournal experiment and I wanted something I could really call my own. I bought the Porch-Dog domain name and I was about to post my first blog entry. But I didn’t. I was also taking classes in HTML and Dreamweaver (and Flash and InDesign and Photoshop and Unix and…) So instead of posting anything on Porch Dog I posted something on the web page provided to me by my university. The topic? How totally freaking awesome it was that the Colts had won the Super Bowl the day before. And you know what? Thinking back….that was pretty awesome.
But the freaking Patriots lost last night; and, that might just be awesomer. The little brother of the guy who won the Super Bowl last year won last night; but I don’t care about that. It might be mean or rude or something that either rhymes with or means something similar to “mean” or “rude” but I don’t care. All I care about is the Patriots lost. The best football team of all time, the perfect season Patriots, the team led by the dreamboat that dates the hottest chicks, the New England Cheatriots, the Patriots*, lost lost lost lost–HA! You bastards! I don’t even care that the ‘72 Dolphins masturbated themselves unconscious last night to your loss. The horrific image of a full roster of 66-year old ex-football players manually pleasuring themselves is so totally worth it. HA!
I was driving to work this morning and you know what the NPR newscaster said? He said, “the previously undefeated Patriots.” HA!
He said “The Giants’ victory is the biggest upset in NFL history.” HA!
He said “The New York Giants were victorious in last night’s Super Bowl.” HA! HA! HA!
